New Dog Enrolments
We have three categories for new dog enrolments at Mr Woofles, these are:
Trial day - 6 week Puppy Socialisation Program (puppies starting under 6 months);
Trial day - Dog daycare; and
Trial day - Dog boarding
Please read the information below carefully in relation to each category.
6 week Puppy Socialisation Program (puppies starting under 6 months)
Our young puppies normally start with this daycare program at 3.5 to 5 months of age (up to 6 months). They must have a full C5 vaccination, and daycare can start 10-14 days after they receive their last round of shots.
The weekly socialisation program offers a great opportunity for pups to play with others of a similar age, develop good social skills and independence, and of course it also provides an excellent outlet for their energy. We also have older pups that we introduce to the young ones in our controlled daycare environment.
The puppy group runs on weekdays except public holidays. The first day/trial day is a shorter day to keep the day undemanding for your little one (drop off by you between 7:30am and 9:30am, pick up at 11:30am or 1:00pm-1:30pm), and the remaining 5 days (usually taken on a weekly interval) can be longer days days (drop off from 7:30am to 9:30am, pick up from 1pm to 6-6:15pm latest).
Please note that once puppies reach 6-7 months of age, if they are still entire (waiting for a certain age for desexing) then we generally require a pause in daycare until after the procedure.

Trial day for Dog Daycare
Please note that all dogs must be desexed if over 6-7 months of age and up to date with a C5 vaccination (certificate required).
Prior to any ongoing daycare we require a successful half day trial to assess your dog’s social skills, play style, comfortability while away from their family, basic obedience and general suitability to a high energy, stimulating daycare environment.

Trial day for Dog Boarding
Before boarding, we require a short daycare trial (usually 8am to 1pm) to conduct a behavioural assessment. With our overnight boarding service, the dogs are in their rooms at night and spend much of their day with other dogs in our social daycare environment. Therefore it’s very important that they are happy, sociable and comfortable in daycare.
The trial day (and any subsequent daycare sessions if desired) provides an opportunity for your pup to familiarise themselves with the facility, staff and daycare routine, and experience being picked up by you at the end of a fun day.
Please let us know if your pup has any separation anxiety, or destructive tendencies when left alone as this is relevant to our assessment for boarding. We want to ensure all dogs have a positive experience with us.
In some circumstances, particularly with longer stays, we will recommend doing an overnight trial in addition to the daycare trial.
If all goes well with the daycare trial and/or overnight trial, we will confirm your boarding dates.

A note about booking boarding on short notice, or for peak holiday dates such as long weekends and Christmas:
Please note that it can be difficult to book boarding on short notice as a trial day must be organised.
As a low volume boarding kennel, we also have limited spaces for peak holidays dates so we recommend booking with as much lead time as you can. If you have particular dates in mind and would like to check availability before you register online, please email us.
